What can you do to mark Co-operatives Fortnight?

Co-operatives Fortnight 2011 will run from 25 June to 9 July.
This year, the theme is 'Yours to Share'. Co-operatives up and down the country will be getting involved in showcasing what makes them and co-operation different, and with so many co-operative businesses in the South West - 356 of us - it would be great if we can make a real splash in this region.
By joining in and doing something during Co-operatives Fortnight, co-operatives will not only be able to promote co-operation as a better alternative, but will also be able to raise the profile of their own organisation. And the more people that take part, the bigger impact we'll have.
PLEASE LET US KNOW YOUR PLANS SO WE CAN PROFILE THEM BELOW!

EDUCATION AND YOUNG PEOPLE, Plymouth, 5 July
The Co-operative College invites you to take part in a nationwide forum for consultation and discussion addressing the challenges and opportunities for co-operative education today, at a time of change and renewal for the co-operative movement.
An event at Lipson Community College in Plymouth on Tuesday 5 July will offer opportunities to listen to a panel of speakers – both academic and practitioner, hear about the College’s current research in the UK and internationally and provide a space for you to share your views and comments. The event is part of a series of meetings taking place during Co-operatives Fortnight at various locations in the UK, focusing on different aspects of co-operative education.
